Shakhbout Bin Sultan

Shakhbout Bin Sultan: He is Sheikh Shakhbout Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi (1928-1966). His era witnessed many local, regional and colloquial events, which he dealt with all sophistication and good management, including the negative effects of the collapse of the diving profession, the main pillar of the region's economy, as well as the negative effects due to the outbreak of World War II in the region, and his era witnessed the emergence of oil and its export from Abu Dhabi, and its impact on the development and growth of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and many government departments and institutions were established in his era, and in 1966 he stepped down from power in favor of his brother, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of the UAE United.
